What is a Radiologist?
A radiologist is a medical doctor who is specially trained to interpret imaging exams or procedures to diagnose or treat your condition. Although radiologists are rarely seen by the patient, they play an important role in the overall health care equation. They supply your doctor with the information needed to provide the appropriate treatment or care based on the results of your imaging exam.

Our Radiologists
Not all radiologists are the same. At SDMI, each radiologist is recognized as a specialist in one particular area of the body. Our radiologists are experts and valued consultants to your doctor. In addition, all of our radiologists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology and several of our doctors hold certification in subspecialty areas such as neuroradiology and interventional radiology. Because of their experience and skill, they can assure that your exam is performed quickly and appropriately. The result is accurate and decisive images and interpretations.
