INTRODUCING STEINBERG DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL IMAGING'S (SDMI) NEW CIO: ANGIE COSCA

(Las Vegas, Nev.) - Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI) is pleased to announce that Angie Cosca has been promoted from IT Director to CIO (Chief Information Officer).

Angie has been in the Information Technology (IT) field for over twenty years, with seventeen of those years at SDMI. For six years, she was the IT Director but started out at SDMI as a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Administrator. From the get-go, she has been focused on improving everything that came her way. She built PACS from the ground up and has been at the forefront of both cybersecurity and technology innovation at SDMI ever since.

Her passion for technology goes beyond the workplace. Angie is also very active in the Las Vegas IT Community. She is the Education Director for the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) who promotes global cybersecurity. Angie also serves on the board for the Society for Information Management (SIM) where IT leaders collaborate to better both the global IT, and local community. In addition, she is an advocate and mentor for Tech Impact's ITWorks program. The program offers free IT certifications for young adults who are looking to get plugged into the IT world.

Recently, Angie received the top accolade, Techie of the Year, at the LV Techie Awards and Aspiration Awards held at Zappos in downtown Las Vegas on April 6th. She was recognized for her excellence in technology, computing, and leadership in the community. Angie also received ITWorks Volunteer of the Year from Tech Impact for her countless hours of volunteer work, and mentorship to aspiring IT professionals.

Everyone at SDMI is extremely proud of Angie, and all of her accomplishments. She is a bright star and will continue to shine, not only at SDMI but in the Las Vegas community.
