SDMI Leaders Continue to Set the Standard in Healthcare Technology and Innovation

At Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI), leadership goes beyond radiology. Our team continues to earn recognition for driving innovation, advancing patient experience, and shaping the future of healthcare technology in Southern Nevada and beyond.

Following recent honors for SDMI executives in healthcare leadership, we are proud to announce two new achievements that highlight our ongoing commitment to excellence in AI-powered innovation and community mentorship.

Rachel Papka Named 2025 Genesys Orchestrator of the Year

Rachel Papka, SDMI’s Chief Innovation Officer, has been named the 2025 Genesys Orchestrator of the Year—a global honor recognizing leaders who use technology to create exceptional patient and employee experiences.

Under Rachel’s leadership, SDMI transformed its patient access and communication systems using the Genesys Cloud™ platform, redefining how patients connect with care.

Patients now benefit from 24/7 virtual support, seamless self-service scheduling, and AI-driven interactions securely integrated with electronic medical records. These enhancements make access faster, easier, and more compassionate—helping patients feel supported every step of the way.

The transformation also improved the employee experience. With Workforce Engagement Management tools.

“With Genesys, patient access has become faster, easier, and more compassionate,” said Papka. “Technology should never replace empathy—it should enable it.”
