STEINBERG DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL IMAGING (SDMI) EARNS REACCREDITATION FROM AAAHC

(Las Vegas, Nev) – Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI) has earned reaccreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) making this the 9th year since first accreditation. Accreditation distinguishes SDMI from many other outpatient facilities by providing the highest quality of care to its patients as determined by an independent, external process of evaluation. The process consists of an extensive self-assessment and onsite survey by AAAHC expert surveyors – physicians, nurses, and administrators who are actively involved in ambulatory care.Every 3 years, SDMI goes through the rigorous re-accreditation process ensuring high standards are met, in addition to ongoing compliance and continuous improvement. The voluntary accreditation strengthens the vision set when SDMI first opened its doors; to be the medical imaging provider of choice for every patient and physician, and the employer of choice for our community. Maintaining the accreditation is vital as it gives patients and physicians confidence in the high-quality care and patient safety that SDMI has been known for.
