Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI) is pleased to welcome two new radiologists to the practice: Dr. Joshua Kling, specializing in Pediatric Imaging, and Dr. Michael O’Bryant, specializing in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology. Their advanced training, clinical expertise, and dedication to patient care further reinforce SDMI’s mission to provide an exceptional patient experience.
Dr. Joshua Kling — Pediatric Imaging
Dr. Joshua Kling joins SDMI following his Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his internship at Sunrise Health System / Southern Hills Hospital and residency at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Kling chose radiology for its dynamic and problem-solving nature, as well as its central role in patient diagnosis and care. His passion for pediatric imaging stems from its variety and team work-driven approach.
“We use every imaging modality and work across all organ systems,” Dr. Kling explains. “Pediatric patients can’t always describe their symptoms, so our role is crucial in helping clinicians provide the best care possible.”
Dr. Kling was attracted to SDMI’s strong community values and collaborative environment. "Being an integral part of and contributing meaningfully to my community is one of my core values," he notes. "I observed that the people at SDMI share these values — compassion, expertise, and humility."
Dr. Michael O’Bryant, DO — Musculoskeletal Radiology
Dr. Michael O’Bryant joins SDMI as a fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist from the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and completed his internship at HCA Oak Hill Hospital, affiliated with the University of South Florida.
Dr. O’Bryant was drawn to radiology for its integration of anatomy and pathophysiology, as well as its broad opportunities for collaboration. “Radiology is multifaceted — in one day you can interpret studies from head to toe, perform image-guided procedures, and provide consultative expertise,” he says.
His interest in musculoskeletal radiology was shaped by the complexity of the field. "The anatomy is intricate, and the pathology often overlaps with biomechanics unique to each joint," Dr. O’Bryant says "It is both challenging and deeply rewarding."
He was attracted to SDMI’s patient-centered culture and reputation for excellence. "SDMI’s approach to patient care was immediately evident during my visit," he observes. "It is a supportive environment that encourages collaboration and continuous growth."
Advancing Patient Care in Las Vegas
Both Dr. Kling and Dr. O’Bryant embody SDMI’s founding philosophy: If you practice great medicine, patients will follow. Their combined expertise in pediatric and musculoskeletal imaging enhances SDMI’s ability to deliver accurate, compassionate, and timely diagnostic care to the Southern Nevada community.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Joshua Kling and Dr. Michael O’Bryant to SDMI.
