Angie brings over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, with a deep focus on Healthcare IT. She joined Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI) in 2002 as an IT Specialist and quickly rose through the ranks, serving as PACS Administrator and IT Director before being named Chief Information Officer(CIO) in 2019. Today, she leads a dynamic team of 10, driving innovation, strengthening cyber security, and optimizing IT operations across the organization.
Angie’s impact extends well beyond her role at SDMI. In 2025, she was honored with Tech Impact’s Volunteer Impact Award, recognizing her continued commitment to mentorship and community leadership. She was previously named Las Vegas’ Techie of the Year and Volunteer of the Year by Tech Impact in 2019 for her outstanding contributions to the field and unwavering support of emerging IT professionals.
A passionate advocate for the Las Vegas IT and cybersecurity community, Angie currently serves as President of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) Las Vegas Chapter, is a Tech Impact board member, and dedicates her time mentoring through ITWorks and Women in IT and Security. Through her work, she champions the advancement of IT education, infrastructure, and global cyber security awareness.
