Deanna Clark, Chief MRI Technologist was born and raised an only child in Henderson. As an X-Ray patient at the age of 14, a friendly technologist made a silly joke to put her at ease. This experience influenced her professional path. She began her career in radiology by completing prerequisite coursework at The Ohio State University. She then earned an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Science from Pima Medical Institute in Las Vegas. During her clinical rotation with SDMI in 2011, Deanna fell in love with the family-owned business and accepted a position as an X-Ray Technologist immediately after graduating. She then transitioned into Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), taking great interest in the challenge of learning a new modality. While working, she attended The Ohio State University Online, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences.

In addition to being a registered MRI Technologist since 2014, Deanna earned certification as a Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer in 2019. Most recently, Deanna took on the role of Chief MRI Technologist in 2020. She continues to learn new MRI systems and techniques, as SDMI has the singular opportunity to provide patients with the newest technology available.

As a Las Vegas Valley native, Deanna loves sharing her knowledge of the desert with others. She enjoys traveling with her family, camping, fishing, and generally appreciating the outdoors.
