Is responsible for the prompt delivery of Radiology Film, CD, and reports and other assigned duties. Will maintain accurate courier log sheets of all deliveries; obtain a signature from referring offices for proof of delivery and when personnel unavailable will notate reasoning on courier log. Responsible for notating all recorded deliveries in the patient’s account. Works in a positive manner with the SDMI file rooms, has proper phone etiquette and acts as a liaison with doctor’s offices to solve any problems that may occur and reports any changes immediately to Supervisor. All couriers will be available to cover another route if the need is necessary. Checks all films, CD’s and reports verifying that information is going to the correct doctor, correct patient listed on envelope and corrects any errors that that where created by other departments. Always available for all STAT deliveries and ensures pagers are working properly so that they can be reached when needed. May perform other job related duties as necessary for the efficient operation of SDMI.Full time positionBased out of Green Valley locationHours: 8am-4:30pmMust have reliable carMINIMUM SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIREMENTS:• Must be a High school graduate or equivalent.
